His dissertation, titled Immanent Right: Fact and Value in Modern European and Africana Political Thought, investigates critical approaches to normative socio-political justification in major works of modern European and Africana political philosophy. https://thomasmcglonejr.com/Current-Projects Thu, 15 Sep 2022 01:41:50 +0000 Thomas McGlone Jr. https://thomasmcglonejr.com/Current-Projects My main focus at present is my ongoing dissertation project, Immanent Right, which examines concepts of political and natural right in Enlightenment thought, 19th-century European social theory, 20th-century Africana philosophy, and contemporary critical theory. I am also currently co-editing a collection entitled&nbsp;Other Scenes: Essays on the Unities in Étienne Balibar’s Thought; the book is under advance contract with SUNY Press.
