I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Villanova University interested primarily in modern European political philosophy (especially Rousseau, Hegel, and Marx), Africana political philosophy (particularly Césaire and Hountondji), and the history of political philosophy more broadly. My dissertation-in-progress, tentatively titled Immanent Right, focuses on the concept of right and its post-Rousseauian legacies, particularly in 19th-century European and 20th-century Africana philosophy. I am currently the graduate editorial assistant at Puncta: Journal of Critical Phenomenology.
