Thomas McGlone, Jr. is a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at Villanova University interested in European political philosophy (including Rousseau, Hegel, and Marx), Africana political philosophy (including Césaire, Senghor, and Hountondji), continental philosophy, and the history of political and social thought more broadly. His dissertation, titled Immanent Right, investigates approaches to normative socio-political justification in major works of modern European and Africana political philosophy.
